Another Life Update On The Rest Of This Week

hey ya'll

So Lastnight's Life Group Bible Study was REALLY GREAT! It was sooooo good. I think I'm going to enjoy this round of Life Group, it's mostly all new people except for Danna & Mrs.Jerrie & Mrs.Deborah & Mrs.Denise. It's mostly people my age this time around except for the ones who names I listed above, I think there are 17 or 20 people in the group this time. It was a great group lastnight. I really enjoyed our night of Fellowship at the Pastor's house getting to know our new life group leader and getting to know everyone in the group. It was a great night of sharing stories and talking about ourselves. we ran past our time we normally get out of bible study but that's okay because I think we could have kept talking had we not realized what time it was. haha! I'm already really looking forward to next week and getting to know everyone in the group a little better.

Oh and my friend Heather from crossgates, who is the pastor's wife and who is also in my life group this round of life groups has decided that my little cousins Lily & Braiden - my cousin Casey's kids minus well be my niece & nephew!!! TOO CUTE! I LOVE IT!!!! THIS IS TRUE!!!! my mom loved it and also said THIS IS TRUE! it really means a lot to me that she thinks of them that way. it's great to have such a good friend like that that I have really began to re-connect with since I joined The Exchange. I love that she's becoming such a close friend of our family now. its friends like that are extra special to me and I'm so greatful to have her back in my life again and I think God has put her back in my life for a reason. Friends like that you never actually say goodbye to when you go your separate ways in life and we went our separate ways when we both left Crossgates she's one of those friends you say SEE YOU LATER because you will meet again one day you never known when that might be. I'm so glad that we've met again and have been able to really re-connect again and have become close friends.

I'm loving that I'm able to make lots of new friends through Life Groups. I'm just loving life right now. LIFE IS GOOD RIGHT NOW!

oh and Heather was such a big help to me lastnight and was able to pass my name and number along to a friend of hers at Capital Staffing, they help people find Permanent Jobs and she said her friend had told her to let her know if she knew of anyone who is looking for a job. so I'm looking forward to her friend getting in touch with me. I can use all the help I can get right now because the job search is hopeless right now and has been for a year and a half now. so another reason for why I'm so Thankful to have Heather in my life. God Works In Mysterious Ways!

anyway, moving on to today,

WOW! WHAT A DAY & NIGHT! doing Laundry & found holes all in my bed sheets when I got up so I stripped the bed and threw the sheets in the garbage. made a grocery list. my mom got an iphone! went to newks and got some tea while my mom was getting an iphone and went to bed bath & beyond and got new sheets for my bed and went to kroger and did the grocery shopping myself & saw a long time close friend Donnie Dennis who I havent seen in 6 years! gosh hard to believe its been that long! I was actually on my way out the door leaving kroger when I ran into Donnie and he was on his way in Kroger. OMG! IT HAS BEEN FOREVER SINCE I'VE SEEN DONNIE!!! OH IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD TO SEE DONNIE!!!! MISS THAT BOY! & put away the groceries myself and Chinese Food for dinner & just cleaned up the kitchen from the mess our food boxes made when we opened the boxes & now American Idol night! now im going to go finish up the laundry and put my new sheets in the wash so I can get the sheets on the bed. I have rolled the garbage can out to the street for garbage day tomorrow.

It's just been two all around Great Days considering everything thats been going on the past 3 weeks. I'm looking forward to Memaw Coming Next Week!!!! Ready To See Her!!!! & Ready for Rodeo Time in Two Weeks!!!!!

well I guess I better get going. I need to go empty the dish washer. Yes I've become the made only I do a WAY BETTER JOB than any made would ever do! ha!

Ya'll Please Keep My Memaw's Side Of The Family In Your Prayers

A Rincon man died Sunday night in a motorcycle crash on Highway 21.

Jimmy Garris, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene

Jimmy Garris was my memaw's nephew & my dad's uncle's son. this is our 4th Loss of loved ones within a few months but the 3rd loss within 3 weeks. first we lost my mom's uncle James Hamilton McDonald two weeks ago & then last week we lost my mom's Uncle's Son Lee McDonald to Cancer and now this week we have lost Jimmy. I hope and pray this is it for a long time. so I ask that you lift up the Jenkins Family in your prayers and just keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time & I especially ask that you lift up my Great Aunt & Great Uncle Colleen Jenkins & Louis Jenkins keep them in your prayers during this time.

it seems 2013 has brought on the loss of 3 loved ones so far. what a way to kick off the new year. Hope we can kick off 2014 a lot better than this. just keep us all in your prayers as we go through out 2013 and that 2013 will get better.

it is unfortunate that 2013 is bringing us the hard times of loosing loved ones and continuing the hard times of being out of a job for a year and a half now. please keep me in your prayers as I continue the job search. I really need all the prayers I can get right now. your prayers for this job search are so greatly appriciated. I feel like 2013 is trying to kick me down on my behind I will not let the rough start get me down, I REPEAT I WILL NOT LET THE ROUGH START GET ME DOWN! I will make 2013 better and I know God will see me through this difficult time of being out of a job for a year a half when the time is right. God brought me to it and he will bring me through it!

I will be remembering my Great Aunt & Great Uncle Tomorrow Night in my prayers as our life group gathers again tomorrow night for the first time since the holidays. I will ask everyone to pray for them with me. I didn't really know Jimmy all that well, I just remember the couple of times I saw him at memaws when he had come down with Colleen & Louis to visit memaw at the house in shaw. I never had the opportunity to know Jimmy. but Glad I can recall the couples of times he came to the house in shaw,ms.

again, please just keep them in your thoughts & prayers, they really need your prayers right now.

There are just no words right now for these 4 losses my family has been through. I guess I will say what my cousin Evelyn said tonight, UNBELIEVABLE & SO SAD

Brandon Lee McDonald, 44

Brandon Lee McDonald, 44: Brandon Lee McDonald, 44, died Monday, January 21, 2013, at Kosciusko Veterans Nursing Home. Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2013, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. a Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Union Church.

Lee was the son of my mom's uncle James Hamilton McDonald who died two weeks ago.

So Far 2013 has brought on two losses of Loved Ones for my mom's side of the family. Now one on my memaw's side of the family which I will be back to update about later on.

I'm actually Thrilled that it's on Wednesday Nights now!!! I always loved my Wednesday Nights at church so it will be good to be back in a wednesday night church routine for the first time in 5 years! OH! How I have missed my wednesday nights!!!

I'm also excited to see my life group friends again! I have missed them so much over this 2 month long break from life groups for the holidays!

My Adventurous & Out Of The Normal Night Lastnight - 1/26/13

so I was quit Adventurous lastnight! Tried something different and out of the normal.

I was invited to a birthday party for a friend lastnight kind of at the last minute.

they are a Russian Family. Very Nice people. I was so thankful to them for having me over to their house lastnight. I enjoyed getting to know the family. Lastnight I stepped out of my comfort zone and ate some of their Russian Food that they cooked and I LOVED IT! OMG! IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! I could eat it again! seriously! I wouldn't mind eating it again! Especially the one in the 2nd picture below The Golubtsi – Meat Stuffed Cabbage rolls

I totally never expected to LOVE or LIKE the food at all for that matter. I was in complete shock that I loved the food so much. when I realized that I loved it. I said to myself OMG! My Cousins Mollie & Thomas & Kimberly & Brad will all be in SHOCK & AMAZED & IMPRESSED!!!

I have family, Mollie & Thomas Gardner & Family who served as missionaries over seas in Vienna,Austria and they have eatin this kind of food other types of food and my cousin kimberly who has lived in Germany for the past few years and my cousin Brad who has been a chef in France & Denmark and I found myself saying OH MY!!!! I HAVE TURNED IN TO MY COUSINS!!! I LOVE THE RUSSIAN FOOD! This is a good thing though that I have turned into my cousins, such Terrific Cousins to have and wondeful influences on my life. it's good that I'm taking after them now that I'm older and grown up, Good people to be taking after. Just means I have my head on straight and have learned to be adventurous like them and go with the flow and Im pretty sure I have pretty much always taken after them, I'm pretty sure that's where I got my Love for traveling from and loving to go places and see other places. So Thank You Brad & Mollie & Thomas & Kimberly you've all played a HUGE part in who I am today. I Knew there was a reason why I loved them so much! haha! Looks Like 2013 will be an Adventurous Year For Me! Looking Forward to what all 2013 has in store for me. BRING IT ON 2013!!!!!!!

Lastnight was not only an adventurous night of trying new things but also meeting new people & learning about another Country and their culture. Trying New Things + Learning About Another Country & Their Culture + Meeting New People = A Great Night!!!! It really was a very Neat Thing To Get To Experience. something I will remember for the rest of my life.
