GREAT GRANDMA- ( Another Story I Couldn't Resist Posting) LOL!
She ran away from school when the teacher turned her back;
She was married that same day down by the railroad track;
She did not stop to think that she did not know a thing;
Because she had her man now and he gave her diamond ring;
She lived in a little farm house with a country view;
With several little kids playing in the morning dew;
Then she began to think, what ever will I do;
I am just like that woman who lived in the shoe;
So she washed their little faces and cleaned behind their ears;
And dressed them all in blue jeans that she had bought from sears.
Then when they were six years old she sent them off to school;
Riding on the school bus, for there was no car pool;
Then one foggy evening when the school bus came home late;
she started counting faces - "two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight" ;
"My Oh My' was all she said;
And turned them around, and sent them off to bed;
A few years later she awoke from a nap, picked her camera and it began to snap;
Five little boys, five little girls and a grand child on her lap;
"What a nice size family, " she said as she put the snapshot in a book;
Then in 1988, she took another look;
Son- in- laws, daughter- in-laws, grandkids, and their friends seated on the floor;
"This is a full house" she said, "no more, no more, no more" ;
Now the telephone is ringing, but Grandma does not hear because
she is so relaxed;
Sitting in her favorite chair watching "As The World Turns Back" ;
But Skeezie hears the phone ringing and comes running in to see;
"Got to build a man a house" he said, "that call might be for me" ;
So Grandma picks up the reciever and the message is so dear;
Grandma this is Toni, your great- grand daughter is here.

THE GRINCH THAT STOLE BREAKFAST ( Found This Story Going Through Some Stuff And Couldn't Resist Posting) LOL!!
THE GRINCH THAT STOLE BREAKFAST
'Twas a hot morn in August
and all around Grenada Lake
Not a creature was stirring.
was no one awake?
Then all of a sudden
there arose a great clatter.
Sergeant Sissy Bear jumped up
to see what was the matter.
She flew to the kitchen.
Oh what could it be?
When she arrived all she
could say was "Oh, dear me!"
There was juice on the ceiling,
eggs on the floor
Oatmeal dripping from the walls,
Bacon plastered to the door.
There sat Christy and Jennifer, Tammy and Mandy,
Teresa and Marsha all in tears.
Sergeant Sissy Bear scowled and growled,
"i'll tan all your rears!"
"But we didn't do it, "
The girls cried out as one.
"This mess certainly
isn't our idea of fun. "
Who in the world could
have made this great mess ?
Was it Matt or Mark or Keith?
Buddy's my best guess.
To solve this great mystery,
the ladies sought help.
They ran to each room and
cried out with a yelp.
Up Laura and Ann, wake up Linda and Karen,
Move it Geraldine and Kay.
Come On Ellen and Jeannette,
we must be on our way.
Up jumped Kimberly and Mollie,
Selena and Casey too.
Brittany joined in saying,
"We'll help, by golly. "
Hearing the greatest racket, Grandma
stormed into the hall,
"You wake up those babies,
and I'll Thrash you one and all. "
Then suddenly who should appear?
Why Lordy, Lordy, it's Dorothy
Who thinks she's still forty!
She took up the call and
beckoned all the men,
"On Joel and Kenneth, come Skeezie and Tinker,
Gather up all the kin.
Don't forget Brad and Brian and Billy,
Get Toni, Vicki , and Valerie
Let's Not let this Grinch
make us look silly.
Bring Lance and Robert, find
Richard and Matt,
Let's search every corner
"til we find this dirty rat.
They looked high and low
to find the grinch
Who had left the breakfast
girls in such a sad pinch.
They finally grew tired and
sat down for a rest.
They couldn't figure out
Who could be this awful pest.
Then in sauntered a man
His face like a poker.
"Enjoy your breakfast folks?"
Laughed the Grinch Wayne Stoker.

OKLAHOMA BROADWAY MUSICAL AT THALIA MARA HALL WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2010
THERE ARE LOTS MORE BROADWAY MUSICALS COMING UP VERY SOON, A CHORUS LINE IS COMING UP IN THE SPRING AND MAMA MIA IS COMING UP IN FEBRUARY, THE NUTCRACKER IN DECEMBER. CIRCQUE DREAMS ILLUMINATION IS COMING UP IN JANUARY.

Oklahoma! was more than a hit -- it was the first real phenomenon in modern Broadway history. Smashing all Broadway box office records when it opened in 1943, it was the first collaboration between Rodgers and Hammerstein - the legendary team who went on to create Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music. Set on America's Western Frontier, against a background of conflict between farmers and cattlemen, Oklahoma! perfectly integrates song, dance and story to tell the tale of farm girl Laurey and the two rivals for her affections, happy go-lucky cowboy Curly and the sinister farm hand Jud.
