Kid Life October 26,2014 - Exchanging Selfishness For Serving

Grateful for the KidLIFE & LittleLIFE doorholders today who exchanged selfishness for serving to point 50 children to Jesus!

I was one of The Kid Life Door Holders Today! I love working with My Kid Life small group 1st & 2nd Graders. I hope to continue serving in Kid Life for many Years to Come. I will miss being Hannah's Assistant working the sound and helping get the video up and the music up. I wish Hannah all the best as she Transitioned out of Kid Life after Today.  

I think this is a Transition period for both of us if you really think about it, as she's transitioning out of Kid Life and I transitioned out of my job at the Y in September. I transitioned in September from helping Hannah with the Large Group 1st - 5th Graders in The Theatre to 1st & 2nd Grade Small Group Leader. We're both moving on to new things.

THERE IS A BIG TUB FILLED TO THE TOP WITH BAGS AND BAGS OF CANDY AT THE CHURCH THAT PEOPLE FROM OUR CHURCH FAMILY HAVE DONATED 

FOR TREATS & EATS 

We will gather in homes across The City Of Pearl and hand out candy to trick or treaters, the candy will be provided from all of the donations of candy made for treats and eats and hand our church cards and invite them to The Exchange and we will have food to eat as well! we will set up outside of homes across the city of pearl.

We just got her on Monday

my mom's friend Brooks saw a flyer at work at UMC, someone was looking to give her up, and brooks new we were getting serious again about getting another Cat. We tried to get the most beautiful cat I had ever seen the day I got layed off, we had seen some kittens and a mama cat at Dairy Queen down in the ditch the day before I got layed off and mom had promised we would go back the next day and try again and so we did and we tried to rescue one of the kittens, it was a smokey gray color! but it just wouldn't get close enough to us to pick him or her up. we tried 3 different times and had no luck. 

so after trying not being able to rescue one of the kittens, brooks saw the flyer about Belle and my mom talked to the guy off and on for about a week about getting her and we finally got her Monday! 

 

Memaw and i last Wednesday October 15,2014

 My Memaw dropped by for a quick visit after Returning From visiting her brother Martel in Georgia last Wednesday October 15,2014! I was so glad she could come by since she couldn't be here for my baptism service because she was visiting her brother in Georgia.

after severe storms and heavy rain all afternoon in The Mississippi Delta we saw the double rainbows between Shaw & Indianola and The Beautiful Sunset on the drive home back to Brandon,Ms from Cleveland. we got to Enjoy God's Beautiful creation on the drive home. 

what a beautiful End to a wonderful Columbus Day Weekend!
