Door Holder Appreciation Night Sunday January 25,2015 at 6:00pm in The Worship Center.

The Praise and Worship Band accepted the Donut award on Beau Bailey's behalf because he couldn't be there because he has the flu. so Praise Band Leader - Josh and the praise band all accepted on Beau's behalf. 

They gave Beau the donut award because he is always bringing donuts to band practice on thursday nights when they practice and on the nights they are learning new music material and on sunday mornings when they do a run through real early on sunday mornings before the service starts at 10:30am. They rehearse from top of service to bottom of service, so since they have all eaten many of Beau's donut they gladly came up and accepted for him. 

T-Shirts From Door Holder Appreciation Night because our Pastor Bryant wanted to do a little something else for as well to say Thank You! Bryant does waaay too much for us. We need to have a night to say Thank You to Bryant for all he does!

a Successful Shopping Trip to Kroger... If there  ever has been one.... 


so I just got back from Kroger and after my mom and I finished loading the groceries in the car, I went to put the cart away as I always do and this nice guy who was in the process of loading his own car up with groceries meets me and says I will put away for you and took it and put it away! and I thanked him for taking it and putting it away for me. thank you kind stranger! great way to give back to someone you don't even know!


also while I was in Kroger, I had my heavy solid pink coat on since its SOOOO COLD out a lady who was grocery shopping walked by me and said what a pretty jacket and I said Thank You! and she said you're welcome! I've never had people be this nice to me at Kroger. so first a lady likes my coat and then this perfect stranger but a nice guy puts the cart away for me. I have to say that makes for a great shopping trip at Kroger.

I ordered The Martina McBride - Ever Lasting LP - Record this week only to find a suprise inside the record sleeve... lastnight after opening it when I recieved it in the mail yesterday. 

and this is what I found inside the record sleeve lastnight...... 

and so I sent an email instead of mailing the envelope back and this is the reply I got..... 

I'm looking very forward to seeing what I recieve in the mail!!

When One Door Closes... Another Opens...  Monday January 5,2015

So I can officially say how Greatful I am that I got to know some of the people I got to know during my time served at the YMCA. I can't thank you enough for your continued support and praying for me during this time of being layed off. I couldn't be more thankful to begin 2015 this way. I am so Greatful to call many of you friends even after I am gone from the Y. I knew when I started getting to know a lot of the members and many of the members started speaking highly of me ...that it would pay off later down the road. I have been waiting for that moment to happen.

I can officially say that moment just happened Monday afternoon as I just ran into one of the former members while in Target who I had gotten to know. such a nice family and members who spoke highly of me the night they canceled their membership due to some things going on that shouldn't have been going on. I want get into any of that because like I said I was there that night. anyway, this guy gave me his card and told me to call his office and tell them he is referring me to discuss a possible job. he is over a lot of stores in this area. it's good to know people! I always knew that it wasn't a bad thing that I got to know some of the members and that a lot of us became friends because of them knowing my former pastor from Clarksdale who lives here which I knew was a GOOD THING! THANK YOU LORD! for putting the right people in my path. God put those people in my path for a reason, those were the people who were going to help me later! All In God's Timing!! Not mine!

just like the words spoken to me in a meeting in December by the guy I was meeting with that he believes in when one door closes another one opens and I said I do too! well another one just opened!
