Suprise Birthday Party At Sal & Mookies Tonight For My Friend Julia & Getting Ready For Hurricane Gustav

Hey Everybody,

So a lot happening around here lately,

We are in preparation For Hurricane Gustav all over Jackson, We got our pack of bottled water, we got our new extra flash lights, batteries, We got my portable radio that takes batteries and we got plenty of batteries for it, we got our candles and lighters ready. They say it will probably hit us Tuesday Afternoon.

If you come to Jackson looking for Bottled Water, Generators, Flash Lights, all that is hard to come by around here in Jackson right now as all of Jackson is preparing, trying to be ready for what could be as bad as Hurricane Katrina as far as Jackson,Ms Concern.

If it is that bad we will not be staying here the whole time without electricity we will get out and head For Memphis earlier than Originally planned.




Anyways, Tonight I'm going out to a Suprise Birthday Party for my friend Julia at Sal & Mookies DownTown now it is not very often that I'm invited to go any where with friends or to do anything with Friends, so I'm doing one of the rare things I dont usually do tonight. I'm excited and am ready to hang out with Julia Tonight!!!! I cant wait To post Pictures Tomorrow!!!!




Also, if Hurricane Gustav Happens Here Tuesday as they are saying it is, my 22nd Birthday Party that is suppose to be wednesday night will be postponed until Further Notice, I will let everyone know as soon as we reschedule it!!!

Jeff Bates River Bank Music Video

Update Time Again,

So Mississippi Native Country Recording Artist & My Friend Jeff Bates is in the process of shooting another music video for his latest song thats out on radio River Bank, They are giving us the fans & Friends a chance to participate in the making of the video, what they have asked us the fans & friends to do is to submit photos of ourselves with family & friends out in the river or on the river bank or laying on a hammock even though it may actually be at a lake, they can be lake photos.

So I have submitted some of my very own actual River Bank & River Photos from several years ago from when I swam in what was actually a river turned in a pool in Austin,Texas.

So My Foot is sprained/tiny fracture & other things going on

hey ya'll


So here is the update i promised ya'll about my foot.


I'm good to go, they did 3 x-rays today at M E A and everything looked good as far as anything to concerning or too major, its just sprained/ with a tiny fracture other than that nothing really to worry about too much. its just going to take time for the swelling to go away. This will heal itself, they said it will probably take a couple of more weeks for it to heal up completely.


other than that they told me to keep doing what i have been doing, icing it, tylenol, aleve, advil whatever for the pain, to keep it elevated, other than that nothing much that can be done for it. Also i was told that whatever i do, NO WALKING BAREFOOTED, which i learned from that mistake already, i told the dr. that too!! haha!! She also told me i cant wear closed toe shoes right now because closed toe shoes will press on the injured area of my foot and that will make it hurt worse and they dont want any pressure on it, which that want be too much of a problem because i work tomorrow and on saturdays we can wear flip flops and open toe shoes to work, but Tuesday i will have to talk to management about, because during the week closed toe shoes are a requirement.


So anyways, NO CAST, NO CRUTCHES, NO WALKING BOOT CAST OR WHATEVER YOU CALL IT!!!!!


So anyways, while we were there we had them give me something for earache, because i woke up with really bad pain down in both ears and so when they looked at em they said in my left ear it was really irritated and very red, they said it looks like fluid from congestion drainage, they said that the reason the left one is so irritated and hurts so much is because there is fluid around the ear drum and they said that be very painful. So from what they could tell, it looked like i was probably about to get sick but the ear infections helped us catch it in time, it looks like i was on the verge of getting sick. So hopefully with the antibotics they gave us, thats going to stop me from getting sick and clear these ear infections up.


I hate these dern ear infections i get em constantly these days, i get to a point where i cant hear very good, when i get ear infections. So if any of you call me anytime during the next few days i prob. want answer the phone because i cant hear real good right now, So if you need me anytime during the next few days, just text me or email me, or hit me on facebook or myspace.


Anyways, also while im telling you about these dr.appointments, I have to go to a dermatologist very soon, to get something checked that someone has brought to our attention that needs to be checked out, is a mole thats on my neck, we've been told twice to get it checked out but we just havent done it yet, from what we've been told and we have the dr. look at it today and she thinks the same thing, that it may have changed a little, but that we should get it checked out but she didnt really think that its going to be anything to worry about but just to be on the safe side and she gave us the name of a dr. to go to, she said i would have it checked out because you dont want to miss something, They will remove the mole from the back of my neck and they will do a biopsy on it and send it off to a lab, so now is as good a time as any time go ahead and do that while we have already caught the fact that im getting sick, while we are catching things right now.

New College Ministry beginning at RCBC & Please Pray For The New Ridgecrest Baptist Church College Ministry

I Have finally found a college group that I am happy about and am ready for it to start!!! I found one that im glad is finally about to get started this one is going to be better because it will be at the church and not at someones home, not at some persons house that I barely know.



I talked to West Today and he's pretty excited about getting started & It's getting started from scratch from nothing, its in the works and is coming along Thanks To Wes Tankersly and William Bovatsek The Ridgecrest Baptist Church- Youth/College Ministry Staff, who are putting all of their extra time into putting together a college group from nothing that they haven't had ever since like 2 years after we moved to Jackson, some of the college age people like me were going to the youth program there because they were allowing up to age 23 to come and be apart of it because of how young the ministers were and the age group they hung out with.


So this is really good for Ridgecrest and im excited to see them trying to bring the church back up, bring our college age students back to church and get them back in church since all that happened. So PLEASE BE PRAYING FOR WES AND WILLIAM as they work hard to get the new college ministry started and as they work to contact all of our new college age students that are moving up to the college age group, God is doing something awesome right now, as I can tell God is trying to bring the church back up, after the loss of ministers who have moved on, the age groups that have left due to it, God is bringing all of us back together and im looking forward to what God is going to do in this college ministry!!!!

Life & The Workin World & Possibly Broken Foot

Hey Everybody

First off,

on with the story about my foot, last Thursday a chair in our kitchen landed on my foot, we were moving the chair back to the kitchen table and we accidently dropped it on my foot. I didnt actually start experiencing the worst of the pain until Friday and It started hurting too bad to walk all weekend and its still pretty sore and its very swollen right now, we are going in the next couple of days to get an ex ray to see if its broken or fractured or if its just swollen is going to take time to heal, my mom has to call and find Someone who can look at it and take an ex ray and tell us whats going on and why its sooo swollen and part of the swelling is turning into a hard knot its sooo swollen. it doesn't look good, so hopefully we will know whats going on with my foot in the next couple of days. So I will keep ya'll posted on that. Let ya'll know if I end up in a cast or not.

Secondly, Anyways, I am lookin to applying for a job at Best Buy on Lakeland Dr. I know enough about the music and electronics to apply for a job there. but we'll see it will depend on the hours and what the pay is going to be like. I would like a job better than that, Retail is killin everybody right now.

Anyways,so Life basically..... I feel like I'm back tracking and rewinding to when Friends left because once again another one is leaving, Amanda from Work is going to be leaving us, She has been promoted to another old navy store location in The State Of Mississippi but not in Jackson. We are all proud of her and excited for her!!! GOOD LUCK AMANDA!!!! YOU GO GURL!!!! I hate to see her leave us though, which I cant blame her because of all the crap that goes on up there, I'm leaving HOPEFULLY sometime Next Month. The Reason why I hate to see Amanda go is because she is one of the few that I am able to get a long with and am able to work with without any problems. It's not going to be the same around there without Amanda..... :( We're Going To Miss You Amanda!!!

This state is beginning to get more lonely every time I turn around and this state is becoming so empty because everyone is leaving and getting out of Mississippi. This town especially is getting lonelier every day. I am really missing everyone that has left in the past months, Joey, Heather & Jason, Kade, all 4 of you are missed!!!! WE LOVE & MISS ALL OF YOU!!!!

When I say Find Out Who Your Friends Are, I think I really do speak for a lot of us because over the past several months its been one of those of times like it says in the song its one of those times where a lot of folks jump off, and leave us and go their separate ways

The leaving is not what gets me, its being so close and having so much to say and its the people coming in to my life and we get so close and the next thing I know they are gone, thats what hurts the most is being so close and then watching them walk away out of my life.
