Me & Melissa- Beau's Sister & Casey & Frankie & Decifer at FIRE for BAND WARS

Hey Everybody,

Here are our pictures from BAND WARS 2008 at FIRE downtown with our very own Decifer & sugar Foot from Louisianna, some other band in which I have chosen not to remember because they were horrible, everybody is mad at em, b/c it was rigged and they won.

Also this was my first time going to Fire and my first time going into a night club allowed to drink!!! haha!!! not that I did but I'm just saying, but there were a lot of drunk people around us up there lastnight. It was crazy but we had fun even though we walked away with Decifer dissappointed at the results this year!!!

Hurricane Gustav & Talkin With People Around Jackson @ Old Navy & Training A New Comer At Work

Hey Everybody,

so I wanted to update ya'll on the reaction of hurricane Gustav from people around The Jackson Area that I talked with tonight at Old Navy.

So as we know a lot of the Jackson area has been in preparing for Hurricane Gustav and grocery stores and walmart, lowes, and all the hardware stores have been packed with people getting all the things we need to prepare for the hurricane, Service stations have been out of gas, stores have been running out of bread, water, gas cans, generators, flash lights most of that has been hard to come by over the past several days around here.

Everybody has been grabbing all of those things up as stores try and restock the shelves, water, bread, gas cans have been flying off the shelves every where here.

So tonight as I talked with people at Old Navy, a lot of people seemed in a panic and several workers I talked with hoping for the best, but are doing like has been said preparing for the worst. Several said tonight they want to evacuate because of it having been said to be a Cat. 5 but is nothing like that now as I type this.

Several also said they wish these weather people would make up theirs minds if we are getting blown away or not.

It was interesting to hear the reactions from people while I was working tonight. I did see several people come in wearing New Orleans shirts.

It was an interesting nights, others around me asking if I was prepared, if I had been among the crowds in the grocery store. I told them that we went Yesterday on saturday and stocked up and got a lot of water, we got our extra flash lights and batteries, we stocked up on lots of food and drinks.

I dont think we can be anymore prepared, we got our flash lights, portable radio, candles, lighters ready, but we will see how this hurricane plays out as we are all sitting back wondering if its even going to hit us or not.

Also something exciting about work tonight, for the first time I actually got to train a brand new employee who is working with us because there is nothing better to do around here these days, she wanted something to do, so tonight I got to spend my first couple of hours at work training this New Girl, her Name is Kirsten. They depend on me now to train new people who will be working a long side with me, so I was quit honored to get to train a new comer tonight!!!

Thats what WONDERFUL REVIEWS GET YOU!!! SO THANKS ONCE AGAIN TO THOSE OF YOU WHO GAVE ME SUCH WONDERFUL REVIEWS BEFORE!!! I REALLY REALLY APPRICIATE IT!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!! YA'LL ROCK!!!

Anyways, Talk To Ya'll Later!!!

PEACE OUT & BE SAFE THROUGH THE STORMS TO COME!!!
