AAAAAHHHH...... LOVING THE POSITIVE CHANGE IN MY LIFE

WELL 4 Days on the job at New York & Company and loving it!!! A 200 TIMES BETTER ATMOSPHERE and 200 times better co-workers there. I have been working with some amazing people at New York & Company this week. I've already been hearing from my now former boss and I will get to that in a minute, that my co-workers ABSOLUTELY LOVE ME!!!! and she too loves the wonderful work I've been doing. I haven't ever felt this appriciated in all of my past 5 years in retail. I had one girl tell me friday night, YOU CAN WORK WITH ME EVERYDAY!!!!! and the boss was like I'm telling you she's fast, every time I finished something she would try and find me something else to do. Lastnight I felt so much more appriciated and re-assured of what I can do and was able to go okay I can put the past 5 years behind me. This is a new day and a new beginning that is SO FAR SO GOOD!!!!!!

Lastnight I found out the boss is leaving.... yep... I hate it im very dissappointed, but she's been great to work with these past 3 days Thursday-Saturday!!!! she told me lastnight as I was walking out the door and she told me YOU WILL DO FINE AND YOU WILL BE FINE AND YOU ARE A LOT SMARTER THAN PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE and YOU ARE DOING A WONDERFUL JOB. I couldn't have ask for a better boss the past 3 days and Can't thank her enough for being willing to bring me on board for the holidays and as things continue to look up hopefully I will get to stay permanently but we will see.

I've really had some wonderful and caring co-workers around me who continue to help me as im still learning some things there and who have showed that they care and ask how I'm liking it so far and I told one night when she ask YOU HAVE NO IDEA THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT I CAME FROM AND I LOVE IT AND YA'LL HAVE BEEN AWESOME TO WORK WITH!!!! this group of people have just welcomed me and made me feel at home there and made me feel apart of the team and I couldn't ask for better co-workers.

also when I came in Friday Night I was told by the boss one of my other co-workers who was in charge on thursday night my first night on the job that she said I did really well for my first day!! SO THATS EVEN MORE POSITIVE NEWS!!! Things are really looking up for me these days!!!!

I even had one girl tell me Friday night YOU ARE APPRICIATED HERE!!! I thought WOW!!! AMAZING!!! 4 words I had not ever heard before in all of my past 5 years in retail.

LOVE HOW APPRICIATED I AM AT NEW YORK AND COMPANY!!! I havent ever felt appriciated in all of my past 5 years in retail so its nice to be able to say THANK YOU NEW YORK & COMPANY!!! YOU HAVE MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE THESE PAST 4 DAYS!!!!!! it's the little things in life like your boss and your co-workers saying they appriciate you that makes a difference! and THANK YOU KIND CUSTOMER WHO EVEN SAID I NOTICED YOUR HARD WORK I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING YOU DO A GOOD JOB! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU KIND CUSTOMER!!!!

AND THANK YOU BOSS FOR THE APPRICIATION GIFT TONIGHT!!! YOU ROCKED MY WORLD TONIGHT!!!!

Ya'll I can't even begin to tell you how much it meant to me to hear my boss say lastnight the one who officially left us at the end of her shift last night, YOU WILL DO FINE AND YOU WILL BE FINE, YOU ARE SMARTER THAN PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE AND YOU ARE DOING A WONDERFUL JOB!!!! I am going to miss Mrs.Angela!!! I love getting to sit back and laugh at the fact that somebody from my past 5 years in retail told me that I would never find a better boss LMAO!!!!!! LOOK WHO GOT THE LAST LAUGH ABOUT THAT!!!!!!!! gotta love some peoples IGNORANCE!!!

Even if I don't get to stay on after the holidays, I can already tell that this is going to be the beginning of GREAT THINGS AHEAD and I really think it's going to open some doors to some great opportunities down the road.

God closed the door on my last job of 4 years for a reason but I continued to listen to what God was trying to tell me and I let God lead me in everything I do in life and I went with my heart and what I felt deep down in my heart was best for me and I did what I had to do to get to this point. there were times when I didnt understand why God wanted me to go through the terrible time I went throug for 4 years but God puts people in your life that you want and need and he puts people in your life to hurt you and to leave you and to love you and make you the person you were meant to be.

I came out of the terrible time in my life FIGHTING AND STRONG!  and I came out in the end with my head held high and told the devil to flee from me I won the battle of my past 4 years. 

Now I got the last laugh and  I couldn't be prouder of myself right now of all I've accomplished to get to this point in my life. I'm the one ended up with a 200 times better job and a 200 times better boss in the end. I am so proud didn't let my past defeat me, it made me so much stronger and I'm proud of myself for doing what it took to make sure I didn't end back in another horrible situation. a lot of people didn't want me to go to work any where else and thats why I am proud of myself for not doing what others wanted for once and doing what Really honestly was the best thing for me in the end.

MRS.ANGELA WAS RIGHT LASTNIGHT WHEN SHE SAID YOU ARE SMARTER THAN PEOPLE THINK YOU ARE! It felt good to have somebody in my life who sees that!!! It feels great to finally have some control over some things in my life.

The song that comes to mind right now is the song that made my parents cry when they heard it on photo slide show dvd of me, I Believe In You- Steven Curtis Chapman, I think he must have written that for me because it has so much to do with my life.
