A Sunday Without Electricity- 5/23/2010- Energy Hard At Work
A Sunday Afternoon and evening without elecricity, at first no one could figure out why the electricity just went out, then one of our neighbors Will next door came out and talked to the energy crew to find out what was going on with the electricity, and come to find out there was something wrong with the transformer box in our yard & will yard b/c its between our house and will's house, so 3 more energy crews had to come and bring a brand new transformer box and it ended taking 3 and a half hours before our electricity was back on.
summer heat & no electricity doesn't mix. we thought at first it might have been an overload b/c everybodies air conditioner is wide open but nope little did we know there was a MAJOR PROBLEM with the transformer box in ours and wills yard. something about the original box which is gone now had no oil in it, it was out of oil and thats not good, the oil is what keeps the transformer cool, I ask Will, I said so what does that mean, does that mean the transformer is going to blow up, he said it might and im not going to stand around to see it, I'm going to get out of the way. Will said he has been living in this neighborhood for 16 years and he said it's not the first time that transformer has caused problems, so they had to replace it. we ended up having 3 energy crews, 3 trucks!! that's what it took to get the new transformer box put in and wired up and get the electricity for the whole neighborhood back on

KRISTY LEE COOK'S APPEARANCE AT BRANDON DAY 2010 WAS A HUGE SUPRISE, SHE CAME OUT FOR THE LAST SONG TO SING- KISS THIS WITH AARON TIPPIN AND SHE FLEW IN FROM CALIFORNIA B/C HE SAID HE WOULD TAKE HER FOR 3 DAYS OF HARD TURKEY HUNTING, SO SHE FLEW IN TO JACKSON,MS THIS MORNING TO GET ON THE BUS TO GO TURKEY HUNTING. OH AND I MUST ADD THAT I FROZE STANDING IN LINE TONIGHT TO MEET ALL 3, CROSSIN DIXON, KRISTY LEE COOK, AARON TIPPIN- MY SECOND TIME TO MEET AARON TIPPIN!! its usually nearly a 100 degrees, and muddy but this year for some reason it was FREEZING!!!!!!! AND MUDDY!!!
